Heather qualified in 2013 at Stone Lion Veterinary Hospital in Wimbledon. She moved to North Downs in Specialist Referrals in Surrey, shortly after qualifying. Here she achieved her Vets Now Certificate in Emergency and Critical Care, and BVNA Wound Management certificate.

Heather spent the last 4 years of her time at North Downs, as a static surgical ward nurse. Overseeing orthopaedic and soft tissue surgical patient care.

She joined Vets Now in 2020 as a night nurse and shortly afterwards, stepped into the role as (acting) Head of Clinical Nursing, before moving to IVC as an Area Manager in 2022.

Heather now works for Gentell PAWS, a upcoming wound care brand specialising in veterinary specific wound care products and education for all veterinary clinics and professionals across the UK and USA.
