Hayleigh worked as a rotating nurse for several years before transitioning into a Wards Nurse, and later Wards Supervisor role, overseeing 5 busy wards as part of her supervisory position. Hayleigh has a particular interest in nursing critically ill patients and completed the Vets Now Emergency and Critical Care Certification in 2020, which she now tutors for, and more recently the Graduate Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Nursing (ECC) at the Royal Veterinary College. Hayleigh enjoys all aspects of wards nursing but has a particular interest in nursing acute medical disorders, soft tissue surgical patients and sepsis.
