  1. Non-slip surfaces: especially where they move around the most (carpet, sports mats, children’s floors).<\/li>\n
  2. Control of the nails and avoid overgrowth of hair between the pads: always trim the nails as short as possible.<\/li>\n
  3. Resting area that is insulated from the ground and cold:\n

    1. Orthopaedic bedding<\/li>\n
    2. If the animal is used to climbing on the sofa or bed, place a ramp to facilitate access.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    3. Elevation of the food and water bowl<\/li>\n
    4. If it has rained or we have bathed it: make sure it is well dry<\/li>\n
    5. Avoid cold and damp in the house<\/li>\n
    6. Use of harnesses<\/li>\n
    7. Use of joint protectors<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
