Poco despu\u00e9s inici\u00f3 el periodo de formaci\u00f3n para obtener el Diploma de Estudios Avanzados (2007-2009) (DEA) en la Universidad de M\u00e1laga, en el Programa de Avances en Ciencias de la Salud. En 2014 \u2013 2015 curs\u00f3 el t\u00edtulo propio de \u201cEspecialista en Traumatolog\u00eda y Cirug\u00eda Ortop\u00e9dica\u201d en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, actualmente es profesor de dicho t\u00edtulo. En 2016 consigui\u00f3 el t\u00edtulo de Doctor (PhD) por la Universidad de M\u00e1laga con calificaci\u00f3n Sobresaliente \u2013 Cum Laude. Realiz\u00f3 la residencia en la especialidad de cirug\u00eda del Colegio Europeo de Cirujanos Veterinarios (ECVS) desde 2019 a 2022. Diplomado Europeo en cirug\u00eda (Dipl ECVS) desde 2024. Director del programa de formaci\u00f3n de residentes europeos en cirug\u00eda en AniCura VETSIA. Actualmente coordina un grupo de investigaci\u00f3n multidisciplinar centrado en el estudio de las propiedades biomec\u00e1nicas de la rodilla canina en las patolog\u00edas que afectan al ligamento cruzado. Ha realizado estancias en centros Universitarios y privados de prestigio en Estados Unidos y Europa. Es profesor de cirug\u00eda en la Universidad Europea de Madrid. Es miembro activo e instructor de AO Vet, pertenece al grupo de trabajo del GEVO-AVEPA. Desde 2022 es Acreditado y miembro del comit\u00e9 t\u00e9cnico de la especialidad de Traumatolog\u00eda y Ortopedia (GEVO-AVEPA). Sus \u00e1mbitos de inter\u00e9s cient\u00edfico son las patolog\u00edas \u00f3seas del crecimiento y deformaciones angulares, as\u00ed como las patolog\u00edas de rodilla canina.
