As uvas e as sultanas s\u00e3o frutos do g\u00e9nero Vitis spp. Provocam insufici\u00eancia renal aguda em c\u00e3es devido a necrose tubular proximal.<\/p>\n

O tratamento depender\u00e1 do momento da ingest\u00e3o e da evolu\u00e7\u00e3o da insufici\u00eancia renal. Se se tratar de uma ingest\u00e3o recente sem danos renais, recomenda-se induzir a emese, administrar doses repetidas de carv\u00e3o ativado e iniciar a fluidoterapia para promover a diurese durante 24-48 horas.<\/p>\n

Se o doente j\u00e1 tiver les\u00f5es renais, a descontamina\u00e7\u00e3o ser\u00e1 ineficaz, uma vez que o veneno j\u00e1 foi absorvido. Iniciar a fluidoterapia para aumentar a diurese e evitar a desidrata\u00e7\u00e3o sem causar sobrecarga de fluidos. A press\u00e3o arterial tamb\u00e9m ser\u00e1 controlada atrav\u00e9s da monitoriza\u00e7\u00e3o e do tratamento da hipertens\u00e3o, caso ocorra, por exemplo, com bloqueadores dos canais de c\u00e1lcio, como a amlodipina. Tratar as complica\u00e7\u00f5es gastrointestinais com gastroprotectores e procin\u00e9ticos. Considerar a possibilidade de transfus\u00e3o se a anemia for grave. Se a insufici\u00eancia renal n\u00e3o responder ao tratamento, considerar o encaminhamento para um centro com capacidade de hemodi\u00e1lise.<\/p>\n
