In 2015, Carlos completed an internship in Anaesthesia at the University of Liverpool before starting a one-year internship in Emergency and Critical Care at the University of California Davis in 2016. In 2017, he joined the Small Animal Hospital of the University of Glasgow, where he currently leads the Intensive Care Unit and Critical Care Service.
