Petros graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2013. Soon after graduation, he started a two-year combined Master’s degree/medicine internship at the same institution. After a rotating clinical internship at Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists and two years in general practice, he joined Southfields Veterinary Specialists in 2019. He completed his residency in Oncology in April 2022, and he has worked as a consultant in Oncology at the same hospital since then. He became a diplomate in Small Animal Oncology in 2023.

His clinical interests lie in the treatment of lymphoma in dogs and cats and the use of tyrosine kinase inhibitors in different neoplastic conditions. He lectures in national and international congresses and scientific meetings.
