Raquel graduated in veterinary medicine from the Complutense University of Madrid in 2013. After that, she completed two rotating internships in Spain, and then moved to the United Kingdom. There she worked as a general veterinarian for a year and then completed an Internal Medicine internship at Southfields Veterinary Specialists, a referral private hospital in England. After that, she completed the ECVIM (European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine) residency at the same hospital for three years (2019-2022), training as a Diplomate in Internal Medicine and acquiring the title of European Specialist in Internal Medicine (EBVS®) in 2023. After working at Wear Veterinary Referrals, a referral private hospital in England as a specialist in Internal Medicine, Raquel joined the European University of Madrid as a teacher and clinician in Interna Medicine in April 2024.
