Lauren graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, London, in 2022 with a BSc (Hons) in Veterinary Nursing. During the final year of her studies, she undertook an elective module in anaesthesia and focused her dissertation on ASA grading, reflecting her early interest in perioperative patient care and anaesthetic risk assessment.

After gaining initial experience in general practice, she pursued her passion for anaesthesia by joining a specialist referral hospital to work as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in the dental, oral, and maxillofacial surgery department. In this role, she was part of a multidisciplinary team that included board-certified anaesthesia specialists and dedicated anaesthesia nurses. Her work involved delivering high-standard, tailored anaesthesia to complex dental and surgical patients.

She is excited to share her clinical experience and love of anaesthesia with current colleagues and future veterinary nurses.
