Julie graduated from the Veterinary School of Liège (Belgium) in 2017. She pursued her studies with a rotating internship, before joining the SIAMU, intensive care unit of the Veterinary School of Lyon working as an assistant clinician for 1 year and then a clinician for 2 years. During this time, she started a PhD working on volume status assessment using the ultrasonographic assessment of the cauda vena cava in dogs that she passed in 2023. In 2021 she started her ECVECC residency in the SIAMU. She’s particularly interested in hemodynamics and volume status assessment and the use of POUCS in emergency and critical care.
