Charlie graduated from the University of Bristol in 2014. After a year in small animal practice, he undertook a rotating Internship at the University of Cambridge, followed by a Residency programme in medical oncology. He finished this in 2019 after which he joined DWR. In April 2021, he became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Oncology) and in 2023 DWR Head of Oncology. Charlie has a particular interest in the diagnosis and treatment of round cell tumours. He has previously lectured at BSAVA congress and is an Associate Professor at the University of Nottingham, where he is also a guest lecturer
