Giorgia Marchese

Giorgia graduated from the University of Bologna in March 2013. After her graduation, she worked in general practice and completed a Rotating Internship in Milan. Giorgia then worked for four years in the Intensive Care Unit of a referral hospital in Bologna.

During this time, Giorgia developed a strong interest in anaesthesia and pain management for critical patients. In August 2018, she moved to the United Kingdom to undertake a specialised internship in anaesthesia and analgesia at the Animal Health Trust in Newmarket.
In September 2019, Giorgia began her Residency at the European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia. Throughout her training, she worked at various institutions in the UK, including the Animal Health Trust, the University of Liverpool Veterinary School, and Willows Veterinary Centre.
In December 2023, Giorgia obtained the diploma from the European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia.

Giorgia’s areas of interest include anaesthesia for interventional cardiology procedures, anaesthesia for critical patients, and pain management.
