Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Zaragoza in 2012. After working for 5 years in a small animal general practice and completing a twelve-month rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the veterinary teaching hospital of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) during 2017/2018, he began a three-year residency (2019-2022) program as a resident of the European College of Veterinary Clinical Pathology (ECVCP Resident) at the same institution. Immediately after residency, he spent 1 year as a clinical pathologist Batt Laboratories (Coventry, UK) and obtained the diploma in October 2023. He currently works as a clinical pathologist, focusing on cytological and hematological diagnostics. He is author of several scientific articles and book chapters and has also participated in congresses/courses focused on veterinary clinical pathology. Outside of clinical pathology, he enjoys many outdoor activities (hiking, open water swimming, backpacking), making desserts, and spending time with his husband and their two rescue dogs, Bruno and Iorek.
