Amyleigh is a dedicated referral dentistry nurse at Eastcott Veterinary Referrals in Swindon, Wiltshire. As part of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery team, she collaborates with specialists to provide advanced dental care for animal patients. Eastcott is renowned for having one of the largest dentistry teams in Europe, offering world-leading dental care. Amyleigh’s role involves assisting in complex dental procedure, ensuring patient comfort and supporting the overall mission of delivering high-quality veterinary dental services.

Amyleigh has also gained certificates in oral care nursing and ISFM feline nursing. Prior to working in dentistry Amyleigh was a multidisciplinary nurse rotating through many of Eastcott’s other specialist departments, including soft tissue, orthopaedics, neurology, medicine and many more. Previously, Amyleigh worked as a primary care nurse at Garden Veterinary Group in Chippenham, Wiltshire. At this practice she found her love for dental nursing and laboratory, where she became the lead for both departments. Over the next couple of years she helped organise and lead puppy classes, further developing her communication skills in educating clients on animal welfare and husbandry.

Amyleigh also holds a Batchelor of honours degree in Animal Science and Management from the Agricultural University, during which time she gained experience at a variety of animal environments including zoos, rescue centres and aquariums. Throughout the years she has cared for and nurtured all kinds of animals, not least her cat, Leroy, and her gecko, Squeak.
