Aurora graduated from Bologna Veterinary University in Italy in 2009. After spending some time in first opinion practice in Italy, she moved to the United Kingdom in 2011. She undertook a small animal anaesthesia internship and subsequently a European and American Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia residency at the University of Liverpool. She then worked in referral practices in the West Midlands and Hampshire before joining North Downs Specialist Referrals, in Surrey, UK.

She passed the American Diploma boards in 2017. She undertook the Recover BLS and ALS training in 2019 and became a Recover BLS and ALS trainer in 2022. Her interests include peri-operative fluid therapy, treatment of cardiac arrest and critical care. Aurora’ s passion for well-being and non-technical skills led her to became a mental health first aider in 2021 and to undertake a 200 hours yoga and meditation teacher training in 2017.
