Dr. Carlos Millán began his career in veterinary anaesthesia in 2020 with an internship at Southfields Veterinary Specialists. He went on to complete a second internship in anaesthesia at Dick White Referrals before returning to Southfields to commence his residency. He finalised his residency training at North Downs Specialist Referrals, where he further strengthened his skills.

Following completion of his residency, Dr. Millán continued his career as a post-residency clinician leading the Anaesthesia and Analgesia service at VetSpécialistes in Geneva (Switzerland). In this role, he is dedicated to delivering peri-operative care for patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.

Dr. Millán enjoys all aspects of veterinary anaesthesia, with particular interests in multimodal analgesia especially throughout the use of locoregional techniques, and the optimisation of anaesthetic care for high-risk and critically ill patients.
