Course Coordinator Emergency | RVN BSc(Hons) Grad dip VN

My name is Daniella Sines. I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2009 from the Royal Veterinary College after completing a BSc(Hons) degree in veterinary nursing. I started working at North Downs Specialist Referrals that same year to the present day and since 2013 have been working as a Neurology Nurse. In 2015 I completed the Graduate Diploma in Professional and Clinical Veterinary Nursing from the Royal Veterinary College.

In 2021 I took on a leadership role alongside my clinical role and became a Wards Supervisor. This role involves organisation of the wards department, optimising patient flow into and out of wards whilst ensuring the provision of care to patients is of a high standard. I provide professional and operational guidance to the nursing team and ensure all tasks are completed to the expected standard.

In 2022 I became a Nurse Manager in Quality. This role involves working to improve quality standards in line with policies, standard operating procedures and best practice ensuring they are kept up to date. I ensure our nursing team are aware of and adhere to quality standards for the work they are performing to provide outstanding patient and client care. I review patient safety events and follow up on reported incidents ensuring that improvement plans are developed and implemented.
