Erica graduated from University College Dublin in 2020 . Following her passion for anaesthesia she began an anaesthesia and analgesia internship at the University of Edinburgh, followed by a rotating internship in the same institution. Erica continued to focus on anaesthesia and was appointed as an anaesthesia clinician at Cave Veterinary Specialists in 2022. She joined DWR in 2023 as a Resident in anaesthesia and analgesia. Her particular clinical interests include management of the critical patient and neuro-anaesthesia. She is particularly keen to share her love and joy of anaesthesia and has been involved in the delivery of talks on anaesthesia related topics to peers and nurses in the institutions in which she has worked.

In her spare time Erica is a keen baker and loves to spend time outdoors.
