Julia Deutsch

Julia graduated from the Veterinary University of Vienna, Austria in 2008. She worked for two years at the Ophthalmology Department at the University before moving to the UK where she completed a Small Animal rotating internship at the Animal Health Trust. After a few months in general practice in Austria, she returned to the UK and started an ECVAA residency at the Animal Health Trust. Julia gained her European Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia in 2016. In 2017, Julia joined the anaesthesia team at Langford Vets, University of Bristol. She is the director of the rotating internship programme at Langford Vets and anaesthesia lead for the Translational Biomedical Research Centre at the University of Bristol. Julia enjoys teaching and working with residents. She is particularly interested anaesthesia of patients with complex disease processes.
