Lynda Rutherford

Lynda Rutherford graduated from the Royal (Dick) Veterinary School, University of Edinburgh in 2005. She worked in mixed practice in Cheshire for 10 months before working in a busy first opinion Small Animal hospital for 3 years. She completed a Small Animal rotating internship at the Royal Veterinary Collage (RVC) in 2010 and a Small Animal Surgical Residency also at the RVC in 2014 being coming an ECVS and RCVS recognised specialist in small animal surgery. She is currently a Senior Lecturer in small animal surgery at the Royal Veterinary Collage (RVC), London. Lynda enjoys working in RVC’s busy referral hospital and enjoys the challenge of complex surgical patients. Lynda is passionate about trying to improve the welfare for brachycephalic patients and is always investigating new ways to improve the airways of these breeds.
