Nigel Campbell

Nigel Campbell graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 1994. After three years of equine practice, including an internship at the Animal Health Trust, he moved to the USA to undertake a residency in equine internal medicine at North Carolina State University (NCSU). This was followed by a PhD in physiology at the same institution. After the PhD, he did a residency in anaesthesia and analgesia and subsequently joined the clinical anaesthesia faculty at NCSU. In 2018, Nigel decided to return to the UK and splits his time between DWR Veterinary Specialists and Newmarket Equine Hospital undertaking all aspects of anaesthesia and analgesia.
Nigel is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Large Animal), and both the American and European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia.
