Rachel graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2006.  Immediately after graduation, she completed a rotating internship before spending three years working in a busy first opinion small animal hospital in the UK.  She then moved to join the team at Dick White Referrals, a private referral clinic,  initially as a resident in small animal medicine, and subsequently as a consultant in internal medicine for the following nine years.  Most recently Rachel is a telemedicine consultant working at Vet Oracle Telemedicine and is also currently involved in setting up an independent referral hospital, Stansted Veterinary Specialists.

Rachel has particular interests in the field of haematology, immune mediated disease and endocrinology. Rachel also greatly enjoys being involved in postgraduate education.

In her spare time Rachel loves spending time with her family, including her two mad Labradors, Jenson and Lando.
