Rachel Pittaway

Rachel graduated from the University of Bristol in 2013 having also gained an intercalated degree in Veterinary Pathology at the RVC. Following a rotating clinical internship and time in small animal practice Rachel returned to the RVC to complete a residency in Veterinary Anatomic Pathology and Masters in Veterinary Medicine. Rachel is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists, an RCVS recognised specialist in Veterinary Pathology and a council member of the British Society of Veterinary Pathology. She also sits on the ACVP examination committee. Rachel has a particular interest in surgical oncologic pathology including immunohistochemistry, tumour grading and prognostication. Rachel is currently Head of Anatomic Pathology and Director of Lab Operations for Antech diagnostics in the UK.
