After receiving a bachelor’s degree in biology from Duke University, Sarah enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, from which she graduated summa cum laude (with highest honours) in 2017. Sarah stayed on at Penn to complete an internship in small animal medicine and surgery followed by a residency in medical oncology. She became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2021, at which time she moved to the UK and joined the oncology service at Davies Veterinary Specialists.

Sarah has been involved with multiple publications and enjoys collaborating with colleagues to advance the profession. She has a particular interest in hematopoeitic cancers. She also appreciates the close relationships she develops with patients and their families as they undergo treatment.
