Sonya qualified from Bristol University in 2013. In 2015 she started working for Highcroft Veterinary Group as an exotic species vet, becoming an RCVS Recognised Advanced Practitioner in Zoological Medicine in 2018 and a WAVMA Certified Aquatic Veterinarian in 2020. Sonya is now the head exotic species clinician for Highcroft Exotic Vets in Bristol, as well as the Director and owner of Just Exotics (www.justexotics.co.uk). Sonya enjoys all aspects of working with exotic species, however she has a keen interest in aquatic species medicine and surgery.
