Sophie graduated from the Royal Veterinary College (RVC), London, in 2012. Following this she completed three years in general practice during which time she also volunteered for overseas veterinary charities in Greece and Fiji. She then returned to the RVC to complete a rotating small animal internship, followed by a neurology-specific internship at Pride Veterinary Centre. Sophie later completed an ECVN residency programme at the RVC in 2020 and became an ECVN diplomate and RCVS-recognised specialist in veterinary neurology in 2021. Sophie currently works as a lecturer in neurology and neurosurgery based at the RVC. Her key interest areas include cerebrovascular disease and stroke, traumatic brain injury, and neuro-ophthalmology.
