Tom Towers

Resident in Anaesthesia & Analgesia

Tom graduated in veterinary medicine from the University of Cambridge in 2014, where his passion for anaesthesia and perioperative medicine began. Over the following years in a busy general practice, Tom completed the RCVS postgraduate certificates in anaesthesia and ECC, followed by an MSc at the University of Liverpool. Since graduating, Tom has also been involved in small group pre-clinical teaching at the University of Cambridge and is currently a Bye-Fellow and Director of Studies in veterinary medicine at Downing College.

In 2024 Tom made the decision to move into referral practice to immerse himself in anaesthesia and is currently an ECVAA resident at DWR Veterinary Specialists in Cambridgeshire, UK.
